Quantar Repeaters on 900

Post by oquint »

Does anyone know if a Quantar repeater will work on 900/ I saw a stack of them on the recycle bin at work, I have not seen model numers yet but they came off our 900Mhz trunked system.

Thanks

I did a search of this forum, and the answer seems to be yes. But you need to have the high stability oscillator in them. I would suggest not sending them to the recycler!

We are running one here in the KC area on 927.5875. Has the HOTTEST rcvr I have seen on an IFR. Great unit. Just waiting to interface an ARCOM controller to it.
