What kind of help do you need, and what
part of 900 mHz are you trying to use?

Your MTX is not designed for the ham band, which is now
902-928 mHz. The radio covers spectrum above AND below
that band but not 902-928. On the GTX radios, which is an
older 900 mHz unit, the software must be modified. You could
start by reading up on the GTXs at http://www.batlabs.com to get an
idea of what is involved. GTXs sell for very reasonable amounts
these days ($75 to $150) so you might want to consider going
that route since the modification technology is well known. And
you could also do a search on this board for possible threads
about your 950.

You have one of the current Waris series 16 channel (talk group) MTX950's right not the old MTX900 series bricks right? It should work fine on the 902-928 ham band. Search for MTX9250 in this forum for mods to trunking CPS to get you there.
