W9 consolette cable extension

I want to be able to leave a cable plugged-in "permanently" in a rack-mounted consolette for on-the-fly programming changes. The ribless programming cable (HKN6155A) works fine but the radio won't transmit when its plugged in. What I want is an extension from the "modular 10-pin" end of the cable to the radio--that way the extension could stay plugged in all the time and the ribless could be attached easily when needed. Anyone know of such an extender cable or at least the name of that strange connector?
