A Message From DATACAST Information Services.

Post by Johnny Galaga »

I got this e-mail from DATACAST in case anyone on here is interested:

Thank you for your interest in DATACAST Information Services.

American Messaging is changing their DATACAST categories to the
following new lineup:

- News Headlines
- Sports Scoreboards and News
- Business News Headlines
- National Weather
- Commodities / Futures Updates
- Horoscopes
- Entertainment / Lighter News

As a result, you may lose some DATACAST categories which you had
previously received and/or may begin receiving new DATACAST categories.

Your patience during this transition period is greatly appreciated.
You may not immediately see all the categories shown above. The
transition will take place over the month of April and will be
completed by 4/30/08.

If you are not receiving all the above DATACAST categories, in the
order specified above, on May 1, 2008, please contact us. We will work
with you to investigate and resolve the issue.

Re: Frequency Change

Post by ultimatewirelessgeek »

Hi All - Just found this forum and was browsing for info on the Datacast Sports Pager. The service was known as AirSports. At home I have the capcodes and will post them but my Sports Pager stopped working earlier this year. I believe the frequency was 931.3375 Mhz.

Does anyone know if American Messaging (who took over Verizon Messaging) changed their operating frequency and or capcodes?

next I would need to find someone with equipment to reprogram a Motorola Advisor.

Ciao!
