MCS2000 programming question
Hello. Does anyone know if you can get the MCS2000 software to go out of band for lets say a 450-512 model to go down to 440 ham?

It can be done, as I have a MCS2000 in that split running in the HAM bands without issue. I am still using RSS for this radio and the RSS was hex edited to change the bandsplits for the radio allowing it to program down into the ham band.

Hex edit the 450 band edges down to 440 and you'll be able to program the radio.

Re: MCS2000 programming question
Ok very good I will have to try that and see how it works out. I would guess the radio performs good outside the 450 range if guys are doing it. That was anther concern I had. Thanks guys.
