Looking to see which is the better performer in your opinion
- Motorola Spectrum
- Laird Technologies

- both full length VHF antennas with 3db gain bases.

- Motorola Spectrum is the better made one and performs better.

They are a 5/8 wave shunt fed mobile antenna.

Neither one offers much frequency range, usually only about 3 mHz before the SWR gets too high.
