Hi all,
I want to get a Motorola radio with a HHCH due to limited space in my car to mount stuff. I was looking at ASTRO Spectras, and wondering if the W3 HHCH on the ASTRO Spectras just plugs into the same spot as, say a 9000 series control head, or does the actual radio need to have a special attachment or part to plug in a W3 HHCH?
Thanks!!

Motorola ASTRO Spectra W3 HHCH Plug-In??
Motorola, Federal Signal and the MX7000 RULE!

You will need the appropriate interconnect board

You did not specify if you are trying to convert a mid or high power unit.
For the mid power unit, the correct interconnect board is HLN6459.
For the high power, it is HLN6574, and is considerably more expensive.
There is also a "Y" cable, HKN6096, that breaks out the accessory connector for speaker, ignition sense, emergency, etc. It is optional on the mid power, where you can just use the connector on the chassis, but required for use with the high power drawers.
