CDM1250 Alert on QCII via 16pin Acc

Post by Vercomm »

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if a cdm1250 is able to change the state of one of the pins on the acc. connector when it receives a proper QCII.

Have one situation where a fire fighter would like his horn to sound when a valid QCII is received. Automatic reset would be a real bonus for this too.

Another situation where when a valid QCII is received the receiving radio will key a link radio for a specified time period (2-3mins) and pass audio, then reset automatically.

Thanks guys, let me know if you need more info...first time I have attempted this and I couldn't find an answer searching.

Yes, pin 4 can be set as 'alarm' and trigger when it receives ther proper QCII tones. The duration is programmable, but I don't recall off-hand how long the maximum duration is.
