Is there a firmware rev after 3.4 that addresses the APX batteries?

Marshall, I don't think there is, but I could be wrong... So far, my single unit charger with 3.4 firmware charges my APX batteries with the adapter cup. All the battery data and fuel gauge shows up fine on the radio display, so I would say that 3.4 does the trick so far.

Stupidity creates job security!
If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..
CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

It would be interesting to find out what firmware is in the dedicated APX single charger NNTN7080.

My 3.4 charger has no problems with APX batteries either. I don't believe an upgrade is needed.

I had (have?) an issue with the tall NiMH batteries not having any data show up on the display except for the serial number, kit number and chemistry. Not sure if it's the batteries or the charger. The stubby li-ion has the data show up no problem.

Ayup, the APX Impres charger says its firmware version is V3.90.

I've successfully used the high cap LiIon battery and the tall NiMH battery without problems so far.
This is with the v3.4 firmware and I believe the 1.7 display firmware that came out a couple of months ago.
