CDM1250 Ignition Sense

Post by jchabalie »

I plan on mounting a CDM1250 in my 2009 Ford Fusion. I do not want the radio to power up power off with the ignition, I want to have it on all the time unless I power the radio off. Do I still need to use an Ignition Sense cable or no?

No, unless the radio was programmed for 'follow ignition only'.

I always program them for 'on/off & ignition', that way you can turn the radio on/off with the button if you don't have an ignition cable connected.

I give up... I don't think I'll answer anymore questions... seems like a losing battle anymore.
