Motorola battery - small paper circle in plastic label

Post by g8tzl2004 »

Anybody know what the small white "paper" circle in the "plastic" label of real Motorola batteries is for?

Maybe it some special paper which starts out a certain color but changes to white after a certain amount of time - so you know if the battery is fresh without having to read the date code??

I can see how you might think that, but no after going thru a bunch of batteries from new till dead the dot never changed in color.

It covers the vent hole in the casing.
