Can the TX audio be changed in the RSS like a newer xts2500/5000 which you can change AGC on/off as well as change the TX in +/- 3db increments?
I have a JT1000 that came as NOS but no one can hear me, sounds like I'm whispering.

There is a on/off for AGC and default comes as off. Also check the bandwith setting, it is selectable for 2.5/4/5 KHz
