I am trying to program a SP50 150-170 split for the ham band or a little below (MARS) When I use the shift method it says the limits are 145 to 180mhz. So I tried to hex edit the MDF file and it seems to ignore any changes I make to it. I changed the limits to 140 to 170 and matched the checksum but no joy.

What an I missing here?

Did you "HEX" all 3 spots,in the RSS?The 140.000mhz.is not hard to reach.
